The Importance of Context in Contemporary Art
In a time of widespread context collapse, this is a very important thing to be producing if one is producing any kind of object form in quotes. I think my perspective on it, you know, is coming from having an artistic practice that is almost more about context than the actual thing itself. My project was actually really influenced by that early experience where I was like, oh, okay, if I take these things out of the dump and research where they were made.
