The Old Testament and the New Testament

Andy stanley argues that we need to adopt his view of the old testament. He says christians too often will reach back into the old testament, grab various pieces of it and use them in their practice. Oken: There isn't this big disconnection between what god's doing in the old testament and what god's ini in the new testament right? The old testament is not god's ideal will for human persons after the third frequent chapter of the book, right? So he's wrong. And the irony, in my mind, is he's conveniently overlooking all the new testament passages that christians have historically overdo that horrible thing.
