The Importance of Popularizing Science

I think that probably popularizing science to many, many people is arguably both of our greatest legacies. I don't know whether the science contributions I make in the long run will impact in the field the most. It's very flattering yet, you know, to be on some major TV program or be whatever and get a lot of attention because that'll write a best-selling book. But again, maybe because I also study history, I like to think I don't have the historical perspective to be able to judge.
