The Importance of Solidarity in North America

i really think there's this thing in the north american left where we rarely focus on policy. The online anglo left don't talk about policy like ever you know and i think that one reason for that is that we were so unused to being anywhere near power anywhere near the ability to actually make policy happen. Having a set of policy proposals that people can rally around because they clearly embody their material interests is one way to build solidarity.
