The creator of calvin and hobbs was incredibly picky about how is this reproduced. He never wanted it merchandised. And that's part of the reason why these comics, they're really untouched and magical in a wa that very few things are in the modern world. I have no problem with people creating com at the frog in the style of twin peaks. It's just like, whatever, we know it's a fake image, et cetera.
