The Importance of Dante in Psychoanalysis

The Inferno is a seminal Christian spiritual plastic. It's in the top three richest Christian texts alongside say Augustine's Confessions and maybe some iced ichards or the cloud of unknowing. I think actually not just inspire a sense of things in you, but actually evoke it too. He wrote not just to describe what in some way it happens to him and then amplify and develop that in his life and time. And so even to us now, and when you do find a way in, that's the kind of spirit that is unleashed by the text.
