The Future of Food

Scientists are on the verge of being able to grow crops without the help of sunshine, which would allow humans to eventually travel to Mars. A new proposal from the US government will find us severely limiting the acceptable number of chemicals that are allowed to be used in our products and therefore polluted back into the environment. Hope College seeks to disrupt the business model of higher ed with an innovative model for funding the college education with gifts after graduation rather than tuition and debt up front.
