The Hardest Moment of Parenting

When my son went to kindergarten the first day of kindergarten he had a little note on his chest. We all watched the bus disappear and then we walk back to our house from the bus stop sobbing excited glad happy but devastated flash forward 12 years later this spring my son who once went off to kindergarten just graduated from high school. It's so exciting we're so proud at all all this growing all this achievement it's his turn on the stage. He's about to go through a great run in the spotlight with college in the fall and no doubt a job after that while won't be easy I identify a little more with them now than I did back when I was a teenager as a kid
