The Importance of Diversity in Archaeology
The absence of diversity in a field like archaeology impacts the way all of us see each other it's frightening to me. Howard archaeology is no longer a major it's not supported so I got my degree years before they cut funding and this is just it's mind-blowing to me. Even at pwi's which we call predominantly white institutions they have funding but it's not advertised to students of color per se.
