The Relationship Between Flying Height and Depth Perception

The higher we fly, the less penetration will get because there's less energy actually getting into the water by the time it's passed through more of the air path. There are quite a few developments ongoing at the moment by the various sensor manufacturers to adjust for this. So effectively you will see sensors being flown higher and still achieving same depth that they achieved in previous generations.
