Is the Long History Going Backward a Good Idea?
I have noticed a tendency among a number of people who would either self describe or definiteit ito the category as to futurists, where they are becoming more and more interested in the long history going backward. And do you think that this kind of a turn as a sort of insufficient still? Why should more people who think of themselves as futurists throwing themselves into ta sort of long history? I i can only talk from my own experience, which hasn't been very good so far. For me, the the whatever time and investment i've put into the past has been invaluable in terms of thinking about the future.
