The Benefits of Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy uses essential oils, which are oils extracted from plants for healing. It stimulates the olfactory system, which is the part of the brain connected to the nose and sense of smell. As the molecules reach the brain, they then affect the limbic system - linked to our heart rate, blood pressure, breathing,. memory, stress, hormone balance. So there you go. That's kind of the basis, very very rough top line and also some personal experience.
