The New York Times Doesn't See Parallel Signs of Declining in the United States
The United States is an outlier when it comes to the sheer number and deadliness of our mass shootings. The pressures on our families, the pressures on us at work are extreme and they have become more so. Giving workers higher wages, more time off might be a better way to deal with these mass shootings than the way we've been using.
