The History of Aid to Spain
Aid spain is a retrospective term given really to the umbrella organizations that undertook relief campaigns for Spain. No organization actually called aid spain did exist, it's a retrospective term. The National Joint Committee Spanish Relief was an umbrella organization which included people of varying different political beliefs. They very much had the purpose of raising as much of unsuspained as possible without the divisions of party politics.
