How to Be a More Confident Artist

I understand the fake it till you make it. I totally believe in this. But did you have pieces where you felt like you made a breakthrough, but then maybe after doing that, you couldn't quite figure out what it was? It's such a weird flow, the way that art works and the way that you change and your work changes. Sometimes it's going to be amazing and sometimes it changes on you and you're not ready for it. And if I keep going down this path, I can come up with something and it'll come out different and my work has changed and that's okay.
