The Importance of Baptism
The church does not know of any means other than baptism that assures entry into eternal beatitude at the same time. God has bound salvation to the sacrament of baptism, but he himself is not bound by his sacraments. There is such a thing as baptism by blood. Those who have died for grace, over the name of the 2000 year history of the church, there are people who have Died for Jesus Christwho are not baptized.
