Some surgeons want a slow infusion. For other surgeons, you can't get it in fast enough. And exactly like you mention, you can clock off the entire bipast circuit. If you're bored one day and you're well away from the bipast circuit, just mix heperin and protomene together. It's a pretty cool thing to do. But to give you an idea of what you basly don't want that concoction, and your bipast or in the patient, for that matter.
