A similar study was done on 38 untrained individuals who were randomized to either a perchrophe or a strength group. The hypertrophy group, the group doing eight to 12 reps for four sets at RP 10 saw significant improvements in muscular size. But both groups improve their 1RM performance with no difference between the groups.
