The Importance of Sharing Mythology

In the 90s, at least everyone watched Seinfeld all at the same time. That was a shared mental space or a shared narrative that people followed together. In today where it's like, oh, I'm halfway through this series on Netflix, you know, in the absence of that, we noticed that it's missing. And so this is something deeper than small talk, which is a very coincidentally human thing to want to have.
