The charges related to that kidnapping ended up being dropped when Marta didn't appear in court to testify. So it was around a week after that court date that her roommate reported her missing. And this time she was never seen again. How did none of this come up in the years Pam's case was going cold? I have no idea. But I think it had to have been maybe a jurisdictional issue, because everything with Marta took place in Virginia and Pam disappeared from DC.
