Honeycombing in Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis
I was taught in residency that honeycombing must be multi-layered, but I learned recently that that's not true. So radiographically, what you are looking for is that generally the radiographic findings of usual interstitial pneumonia tend to be more peripheral. And if we find honeycombing, which are these small, round cystic spaces, if you visualize a honeycomb, that is what they look like.
