The WECO was the fourth or fifth oil taker ever built. Since her maiden voyage in 1888, she had hauled many a barrel of crude for standard oil. Standardly decided to scrap her and sold her to a scrap dealer. Lubbock used the money to go into another partnership with a group out of New England that owned a chain of filling stations in Boston. The three formed a new company and so they're going to be hauling petroleum.
