Google Threatens to Take News Out of It
In Australia, Google was threatening to pull out entirely. Here, it seems like they're being a little smarter by just threatening to take news out of it in a way that a lot of people probably wouldn't notice. If it left one major country, such as Canada, and a new competitor was allowed in, I think that's a big threat to Google. But having said that, there is a little bit of a free speech issue here.
