The Evolution of the Bulgarian Idea
Bulgaria was on the wrong side of both world wars. They never got Macedonia. And so it sort of created a strange situation today where you have two states side by side, Bulgaria and Macedonia that speak basically the same language. At the same time, you have at least the number of Macedonia is kind of claiming themselves as Bulgarian lately. Some prominent ones are because Bulgaria is in the EU and Macedonia is not.
