Is It a Good Idea to Rename Columns?
I think it should try to be at the end as much as possible because you do not want to deal with that headache. There's situations where you have a pens that you need to do and then load the data. So if you leave the last step in your report to be renamed columns. I've tried to build some more complex things around data cleansing inside power query. And then any time these replacements show up, replace them in the data step. That's more like cleaning data than anything else.
