Rumi believed that every manifestation of love is should be cultivated and nurtured. Every form of human love is a stepping stone leading us stage by stage to ever wider fields of love, he said. In the end, he would say, the greatest love is love with no object. He or she has become love and simply radiates love. It's no longer a love that needs to possess.
