Are You Using a Cash Balance Plan?
There's two types of retirement accounts. Ters define benefit accounts. There are define contribution accounts. That's your classic four one k, the classic divine benefit a plan is a pension. But those two do get mixed a little bit together when we start talking about cash balance plans. So any sort of guaranteed income you have, whether it's social security income or an annuity that you bought, i don't include those in an acid allocation.
