Are You a Mathematician?
Niv: Can't you make the case to your parents that you learn a lot of math along the way to your mixed degree? It seems to me that economics majors are very employable. And often, if you have a mathdegree, ou're going to end up working in something related to economics,. But in terms of like, l like put aside job training, i'm not interested in that argument. Niv: Your parents probably just want you to continue the line of the hundreds, or possibly thousands of years of mathematicians in your family. I mean, even pascal, though, wasn't just a mathematician.
