The Role of Fraternity in Social Bonds
Lacan: Fraternity is the basis of the social bond after the brothers have performed. So it needs to be overcome as a dialectic over again and again. That to me seems right. However, what I'm less clear about is how one reinvokes verticality to produce a better horizontalism. To me that's what I'm saying is about is about a theory of overcoming dependencies and overcoming bad horizontalisms in some way.
