The Economics of Religion
Economists are applying methods from economic theory as well as statistical tools, to evaluate the role of religion in society. So here they 're looking at the characteristics of religious communities. They are looking at the way in which religious organizations evolve overtime. We think that economists do have much to contribute to broader debates about religion in society and related issues such as religious conflict.
