Is the Distinction Between Subject and Object Still Necessary?
Is the distinction between subject and object still necessary? Is it like a necessary evil? Or is there something else we can use? And if so, what is that thing? I don't think there's anything necessary about that particular way of dividing up the world. We, as i say, language in the world would be another way of doing it. Hydeger would have described in terms of being, and dazan, i've given you an account in terms of openness, closure. There are different ways of trying to hold what it is to be alive.
