Is There No Value in Seeing Reality as It Is?

Is there no value in seeing reality if something new might appear that doesn't fit into your desk top icon system? Why? That's question. I sometimes get that by people aski me, by emal, that very question. And the idea is this, according to evolution's own terms, is to shape our sensory systems to be a mapping from objective reality into a set of perameters like space and time and shapes and colors and so forth. So whatever reality might be, it gets mapped vi these evolution ly fixed parometers into our little space time user interface. It may map into something we've never seen before.
