The Importance of Fun in Learning
Amanda, I think most people tend to think of languages as the former. When really it's more like riding a bike or walking most of the time. And that can't be learned in a book or a dictionary. So you need to find your unique, unique way to learn and advancing a language is about on top of all that. You need to have fun. John: Are there any other basic principles or other last words that you can give to either a Mandarin learner who maybe hasn't started learning and is a little bit intimidated to start? Amanda: Give it a try and then to see where it takes you and don't be afraid.
