The Importance of Emotional Attachment in Human Thinking
Whether you are reared in China or India will make a difference, right? For many things about you that are very important. The locality of our origins is a necessary constituent of even the most abstract human thought. Our ability to say anything true at all is always limited by what Wittgenstein calls our form of life. We learn language optimally from other humans that care about us and we care about them. This is how humans actually begin to learn.
