I had no idea that she was going to wear the dress for the portrait. That was everything that we had never seen a first lady wear before. Nobody ever bared their arms and avoid and never black and Jersey. I suddenly when I saw the photograph, I thought, wow, like we've entered modern times. And I could tell you she would be able to wear that dress 30 years from now.
