What Is the Sourdough Starter?
Sourdough starter can be used to make focaccia, sticky buns and bobcats. In some recipes, sourdough is the leavening agent but in others it's an ingredient that adds texture or flavor. If you don't have sourdough starter, cannot use conventional yeast for these recipes.
