We indeed had no idea of whether there actually would be a benefit. And in our analysis, we've taken very conservative assumptions on what the average social cost of carbon is. For this to be more than a thought experiment, for these benefits to actually be realized, then the people who mine the coal would have to agree to keep the coal in the ground. There are examples where coal owners were successfully compensated for shutting down coal mines early.
