The Problem With Native Speakers

Research is showing that when the non-native speakers are together alone they're actually doing just fine. When a native speaker joins the conversation and what happens? The general level of understanding and exchange of ideas starts to sink. And yet Singapore or Indians yeah or Indian English speakers if you ask them what's your native language they'll say English but they are not globally recognized as native speakers. How many people in the world were born into English how much learned it in a classroom? Those are mouthfuls.
