Introduction
The market ended up today 101 points on the Dow. The S&P was barely up a tad and the NASDAQ was basically flat. We have about two and a half, three weeks of earnings season that will begin in earnest this coming Friday. It is worth noting in the last couple of weeks that the defensives in the market, more defensive sectors have been the leaders.
