Is Bitcoin an Inflation Hedge?
The market does not see Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as an inflation hedge. They see it as a speculative asset class. When inflation rises and people start getting tight on cash, that's the first place they pull their money out of. It just hasn't had the stability that something like gold has been around for so long. People don't feel confident when there's turmoil in the financial markets.
