Marketing is about having some sort of cognitive empathy and maybe the emotional empathy, so you know what your consumers are thinking. I think we see a great surge of empathic concern in many directions, in a much more universal context than we might have seen in previous generations. But at the same time, i wonder if that is also tempered by e a greater concern around how one is being perceived out in the world.
