Do You Really Need to Have Protein Before Bed?

In last week's episode, i talked about the research a looking at pre bed protein supplementation. In reality, based on the evidence we have currently, it looks like before bed is an excellent time to get some protein in. If you're getting enough total protein and spreading it out, kind of, and getting at least few servings per day, it doesn't look like it's absolutely imperative to have protein right before bed.
