Bowing's First Quarter Results

Bowing lost two thirds of a billion dollars. That's pretty stounding for a contract which was basically no bid that they had no chance of losing. Bowing has set with other military contracts like the seven six seven tanker. But this is just like, how do you lose that much money on a contract which you could have just made up a number? And yet more evident that the bowing executives at the time were not on the top of their game at the time.
