The Risky Route to a Victory

There's a proud tradition, many different traditions, indeed, on the progressive side of politics that have engaged with economics in various ways. Remelizavil Weber is the most obvious figure in this camp who's turned a heterodox position into something according to a mainstream position. She's now taking a victory lap, quite a few victory laps, celebrating her success in doing that and all power to her. I left because I didn't think I could hack it emotionally apart from anything else. It seems to me in some ways a really remarkable success story, the incorporation of elements of the former Communist Party. This is remarkable German politics.
