Podcast Advertising Is Getting Bigger and Bigger
The IAB estimated that the advertising business and podcasting this year would be about $2 billion. Around 40% of that also is occurring outside the US, maybe even closer to 50 now at this point. So definitely closer to 3 billion globally. We're seeing a lot of non-US markets pick up more and more. English speaking markets are the easiest ones that we're seeing grow at the same rates because CPMs are similar.
