The Importance of Funding for Pediatrics
Dr. Ko: We need to keep the funding going it could be philanthropic but also trying to get the investors uh that we need to see then interested in investing with a good cause in mind and pediatrics is one of them as well. He was speaking at Texas Medical Center where he serves on an advisory committee for TMC Venture Fund, which helps fund new medical device innovations. Dr. Ko says there's a huge market for pediatric devices even though accountants may give you a tough time about finding your niche. "Keep in mind open and we're here to help"
