The CIA's Now Playing

In the late 2000s, the CIA had a section on its website called Now Playing. Under that header, the agency offered filmmakers story lines about declassified intelligence operations. One was inspired by a 2007 Wired article written by a former spy. The true story of an operation to smuggle six American hostages out of Iran in 1980.
