The Metaphysics of Human Nature

I don't think that being made in God's image implies any kind of ontological similarity. But given the sorts of duties to which God has called his image bearers, so what specifically Yahweh wants his images to do, I think implies that his images are going to have the capacity to be wise. He commands in back in Genesis for his creatures to rule and steward his creation. And that, to me, takes a lot of wisdom. It just tells you whatever those image bearers are, they have to have minds.
