Do the IRA Rollover?
If you take the pension, they give you $800 a month times 800 by 12. That's $9,600 a year. If you divide that by the total amount of your pension, which is $150,000, that gives you a 6.4% return on your money. The problem is you die in four weeks, four months, four years, all that money, all 150,000, whatever's left of it is gone. Just do the IRA rollover.
