The party is over and the king is left by himself. He now understands that he has banished the only woman who had the self-esteem and the fortitude and the dignity to be the queen. And so I'm here to say to you those of you who might find yourself in the position of a Vashtai. There are worse things that can happen than people withdrawing their authority from you. If you must, I would say lift your head and give whoever it is, the royal wave as you attempt to leave with your dignity intact.
